C² Racing was formed in February of 2016 by engineer and Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) driver, Jason Camps. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, C² Racing competes in autocross (a.k.a. "solo"), karting, and road rally events in various series across the country. They also provide marketing and branding services, and help promote young drivers through their development programs. In their inaugural season, the team scored its first season championship when Camps secured the Indianapolis Region SCCA Solo E Street Prepared class championship in his Chevrolet Camaro. In 2017, Camps defended his regional title and secured his first SCCA Great Lakes Division Solo championship. The team expanded in 2018 with the addition of 2017 SCCA Solo Regional Street Touring Ultra class champion, Ryan Natzke. Natzke would go on to win another regional title that year and Camps would successfully defend his division championship. C² Racing also began competing in SCCA regional and divisional Road Rally events in 2018 with Sara Camps, the team’s Director of Public Relations and Media. In Sara’s first time-speed-distance rally, the Hoosier Crossroads Divisional Rally, she took home honors as the event’s top novice. In 2019, the team entered the karting arena with the addition of Kylea New, a talented young dirt kart racer from Virginia. C² Racing is also partnering with California-based ChampCar team Volunteer Motorsports with Camps driving for the team at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a historic double 10-Hour endurance race around the Brickyard road course.
